It must have happened in Yishun — as the running joke goes whenever an unusual incident occurs in Singapore.
In a scene true to the town's sticky reputation as a hub for bizarre activities, two men were seen wielding lightsabers and duelling with each other.
"Sometimes I do question myself is Yishun a real place to live," mused TikTok user Benny Peps in a video posted last Friday (Oct 16) that has since racked up over 130,000 views.
Peps, 32, told AsiaOne he was delighted to stumble upon the play-fight near Chong Pang City on Friday night.
Calling it a "beautiful moment", the personal bodyguard recorded a short 20-second snippet of the duel and shared it online.
In his video, the two men each armed with red lightsabers jump and twirl around the open space as they take turns "attacking" and dodging each other's strikes.

A fascinated Peps watches them "fight" for at least five minutes before making his way home.
"Wanted to ask if I could join them but I was too shy," he told AsiaOne on Monday.
He said he showed the video to his children, big fans of the Star Wars franchise, who also appeared interested in participating in the next duel.
And the men have welcomed them to do so, according to Peps.
"They said next time I can just bring my kids over, and they can accommodate and lend them the lightsaber," he added.

Pep's video has also sparked a flurry of comments, including some playing on the notoriety of Yishun.
"This is actually a secret Jedi training facility," a netizen joked.
"Let people play!" one urged. "The force is strong in Yishun!"
Another remarked: "The North always remembers. People in Yishun laugh together bleed together fight each other and love one another. No other estate like Yishun."
"I love Yishun....surprise always happening," one commenter summed up.
As a long-time Yishun resident, Peps told AsiaOne that he is used to the "many stories about Yishun", and the humorous comments are "part of what makes Yishun unique".
"We love it here. So much kampung spirit everywhere," he said.
