The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) said the worker was carrying out tree-felling works when the tree toppled at its base, causing him to fall along with it, reported The Straits Times.
The worker was employed by Soh & Tan Enterprises, MOM said.
The company has been instructed to cease all tree-felling activities involving tree climbing pending investigations.
