In an update issued at about 7.45am, SCDF said the fire at the affected warehouse at 3 Gul Crescent, measuring about the size of one football field.
SCDF said it deployed seven water jets, two firefighting machines and an aerial monitor to surround the fire.

The fire was eventually put out at about 10am.
SCDF said it expects to continue with damping-down operations through the day.
When AsiaOne reached the scene at around 10am, white smoke - which indicates a lower burn intensity - could be seen billowing from the warehouse.
By then, its roof had partially collapsed.
At about 12.35pm, AsiaOne saw pockets of fires, possibly caused by deep-seated embers, reigniting.
But SCDF firefighters on standby moved in quickly.
Apart from firefighters conducting damping-down, SCDF's unmanned firefighting machines were also used to augment operations.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Fire investigations are ongoing.
