PUBLISHED ONOctober 30, 2026 7:30 AMUPDATEDOctober 30, 2026 7:37 AMBYSean LerThree Chinese nationals, who were charged on Oct 28 for their alleged involvement in using stolen credit card details to commit payment fraud, were taken back in turns to the crime scene at a shop in Sim Lim Square on Friday (Oct 30) afternoon.
Ou Yanming, 36, Zhang Pei, 27, and Li Yancheng, 25, are accused of abetment of conspiracy to cheat.
The 36-year-old is said to have used another person's credit card details to make contactless payment for two Nvidia GeFore RTX graphic cards, valued at more than $2,700, on Oct 26.
According to charge sheets seen by AsiaOne, Ou was aware that the credit card details were fake.
He was arrested after returning to the store and attempting to buy more items valued at over $4,000.
Meanwhile, Li and Zhang waited in a vehicle to receive the fraudulently obtained items, and were separately arrested in the transit area of Changi Airport a day later.
Escorted by four police investigators, Ou was first to be taken up to the fourth-floor shop at about 2.25pm.
Dressed in a white polo shirt and navy blue shorts, he was restrained at the wrists and ankles as he retraced and accounted for his movements during the alleged crime on Oct 26.
Ou looked solemn and kept his head up despite being aware of the media's presence. He appeared responsive to the investigators' questions.

He spent about 10 minutes at the scene before being led away to a waiting area outside Sim Lim Square.
Li and Zhang were brought in next. The 27-year-old kept his head down throughout once he became aware of the media's presence and appeared dazed.
But Li looked confident and made no attempt to hide himself, often looking straight into waiting cameras.
They were similarly dressed as Ou and also spent about 10 minutes at the scene answering questions from investigators.

All three men are schedule to appear in court again on Nov 4.
If found guilty of the said offence, they could each face jail of up to 10 years and a fine.
