'Isn't this trespassing?' Neighbours accused of entering Woodlands HDB flat without consent during renovation

A property agent has expressed concern after several people were allegedly seen entering a Woodlands HDB flat which is undergoing renovation.

The incident was shared by TikTok user qidahfuad on Thursday (Sept 3), who questioned whether entering someone else's home during renovation without permission had become "a norm".

In the video, which appeared to show two separate occasions, several people could be seen entering the unit.

At one point, two women and a man are allegedly seen walking around the property, with the man taking photos of the renovation site with his phone.

Text overlaid on the video claims that the individuals had noticed a CCTV camera but chose to ignore it.

The video has since garnered more than 117,000 views on TikTok.

In another instance, a woman is seen entering the unit and taking photos before being joined by a man.

The property agent claimed that the woman then walked into the kitchen and rooms while the man remained outside.

The TikTok user said the two incidents took place on separate occasions and that she could not tell whether the individuals involved were the same.

She also claimed that renovation workers had told the visitors to leave, but they allegedly refused and continued looking around.

The property agent raised concerns over what could happen if belongings went missing or if someone was injured while inside the property.

"Isn't this trespassing?" she asked in the caption, adding: "You should never enter someone's house without permission."

The video has drawn comments from other users who claimed they had experienced similar situations during their home renovations.

One commenter shared that they had to ask alleged trespassers to leave immediately, as the individuals were treating their home as though it were an "HDB showroom".

Others agreed that such instances warrant a police report, as they involve having "strangers inside (the) house" without consent.
