A 34-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital following an accident on Monday (Aug 24) morning.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed to AsiaOne it was alerted to the accident on Boundary Road in Serangoon at about 8.35am, and took one person to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

When AsiaOne arrived at the scene at about 9am, two lanes of the three-lane road had been blocked off by an ambulance.

Paramedics were seen attending to a man lying on the road. His face was bloodied, and had a bandaged arm and neck brace.

His motorcycle had toppled on its side, with debris and a shoe scattered across the lane.

A silver car had stopped slightly ahead and traffic police officers are seen assessing the situation.
