The 29-year-old driver was involved in an accident along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on Tuesday afternoon.
In response to AsiaOne's queries, a SCDF spokesperson said it takes a serious view on the matter.
"We expect all our officers, including ORNSmen, to uphold exemplary standards of professionalism, conduct and discipline at all times.
"Those who commit criminal offences will be dealt with in accordance with the law."
In a viral video posted on TikTok, the SCDF ORNSman is seen locked in a struggle with another man on the expressway.
The clip appears to show him throwing an object down the viaduct — allegedly an etomidate-laced vape, also known as Kpod, a TikTok user claimed.
The TikTok user also alleged that the 29-year-old was driving erratically before he crashed into another car, which belonged to the man restraining him.
They claimed the man was supposedly "shaking violently with slurred speech", and allegedly tried to escape before the police arrived, leading to the physical confrontation.
