GCB in Oei Tiong Ham Park changes hands for $31.3m

The plot at 5 Jalan Sampurna is approximately 14,982 sq ft, which means it fetched $2,089 psf, reported The Business Times on Wednesday (Aug 19).
Savills Singapore, which represented the seller, reportedly said the site received "strong interest" from buyers, and that the demand for prime GCB assets remains resilient.
The property was first launched for sale in March 2025 at a guide price of $42.8 million.
Savills said then that the site has "strong capital appreciation potential and an address synonymous with prestige".
EdgeProp reported in June that the asking price had been reduced to $35 million.
The two-storey bungalow was built in the 1980s and occupies about 9,000 sq ft of land, according to the report.
