Zeekr Singapore updates the 7X with more power and range

The Zeekr 7X has received a timely refresh in Singapore, bringing subtle design changes, upgraded driver assistance, and three variants aimed at rather different drivers.

Still carrying Zeekr's clean "Hidden Energy" design philosophy, the electric SUV now measures 4,800mm long, 1,920mm wide, and 1,650mm tall. Visual changes include a redesigned front bumper with integrated active grille shutters and visible air ducts, while the rear gets a reshaped bumper and a higher-mounted licence plate frame. The automatic door switches have also moved from the B-pillars to the door handles.

Buyers can choose from Crystal White, Onyx Black, Forest Green, Tech Grey, and the newly introduced Mystical Purple.

Three variants are available, starting with the Category A COE-friendly RWD Standard. It produces 100kW and 520Nm, and offers a WLTP city range of up to 598km from its 75kWh battery.

The RWD Long Range turns things up considerably with 335kW and a larger 100kWh battery. It completes the century sprint in 5.5 seconds and offers the longest WLTP city range of the trio at up to 788km.

At the top sits the AWD Performance, which delivers a rather serious 500kW and 790Nm. It gets from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds, while its 100kWh battery provides a WLTP city range of up to 699km. All three versions use an 800V electrical architecture and support DC charging from 10-80 per cent in as little as 10.5 minutes.

The updated driver-assistance platform is powered by a J6M system-on-chip and uses seven cameras and three radar units. New functions include Remote Parking Assistance, Stop & Go Warning, and Automatic Emergency Steering, while an integrated digital video recorder is also included.

Inside, the 7X gains a redesigned centre console and a new brushed textile roof lining. Laminated front and rear side windows help keep the cabin quieter, while power-reclining rear seats, massaging front seats, a 616-litre boot, and a 21-speaker audio system add to its comfort and usability.

A new Black & Purple interior theme joins the range, while the more colourful Black & Orange cabin is reserved for the AWD Performance.

The refreshed Zeekr 7X is priced from $279,999 and is now available for viewing and test drives at Zeekr Centre Singapore and Zeekr House.
