Before you submit your application, a former chief stewardess of the airline has offered a few bits of advice.
In a series of TikTok clips on Oct 15, a woman known as Cecilia Sim, now a livestreamer, shared several pointers for aspiring flight attendants.
First, the 53-year-old encouraged interested applicants to submit their applications via SIA's website.
Shortlisted candidates who have met the airline's minimum criteria will be contacted two to three working days after that for an online interview, Cecilia added.
This is an important step, she said, explaining that it's an opportunity for applicants to "market" and "sell" themselves, and to showcase a good fit for the airline's "persona".
As for making a good impression during this stage, the former chief stewardess emphasised the importance of speaking well, confidence and grooming.

"Be prepared. Dress well. I'm not asking you to wear a gown," she quipped.
But even before getting to that stage, interested individuals must first ensure they meet SIA's minimum recruitment requirements.
Female applicants must be at least 1.58m, while males are required to be minimally 1.65m — without footwear.
"Please do not tell me 'I am 155cm but after I wear my heels, I am 159cm," Cecilia said.
She also highlighted the airline's educational requirements, including the need for a pass in English for GCE O levels.
And beyond meeting the minimum requirements, Cecilia also stressed the importance of being able to communicate well in English.
While applicants need not speak "Cambridge-level English" according to the former cabin crew, she explained that being well-spoken is advantageous.

She also advised against using Singlish during the interviews.
"If you can speak well, it's the best for you," she said.
Those who make it past the online interview will then be invited to attend an in-person assessment at SIA's training centre.
Meanwhile, requirements stated on SIA's website include fluency in English, with "good communication skills for servicing of international customers".
Applicants must also be at least 18 years old and have a minimum qualification of five GCE O-level credits (including English) or Higher Nitec and above.
Other requirements listed include possessing a pleasant personality and being service-oriented.
Additionally, successful applicants must be able to start employment within three months from the date of application.
The next round of SIA cabin crew interviews is scheduled for Oct 24.
