Petrol prices in Singapore continued to fall on Monday (June 22), following reductions posted by Caltex, Shell and Sinopec last Friday (June 19).
In a price board update published on Monday afternoon, London-headquartered Esso announced that it had posted a 4-cent reduction for its 92-, 95-, and 98-octane petrol.
Its diesel price, which was reduced by 10 cents on June 17 , remains unchanged.
At the time of this article's publication, only SPC has yet to post any adjustment.
The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) is receptive to facilitating more Teochew-language screenings of popular Chinese movie Dear You, if the film distributor wishes to apply for more, the industry regulator said on Monday (June 22).
This comes amid public pushbacks for the film to be screened in its original dialect instead of the Mandarin-dubbed version meant for commercial release here, on account of the Government's bilingual policy.

Scoot has resumed its thrice-weekly flights between Singapore and Jeddah from Monday (June 22) after they were suspended due to the ongoing war in the Middle East.
The company's decision to resume flights comes after "an assessment of the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, as well as operational considerations", said Scoot in response to AsiaOne's queries.
The first flight departed from Singapore at 4.15pm on June 22.

Martha Avila, who was in the house, was reportedly pinned down by the vehicle.

The latest attack — which now number at more than 60 — brings the number of people who have been killed in boat strikes by the US military to more than 210 people since the Trump administration began targeting those it calls "narcoterrorists" in early September.
It is unclear if the survivors of this strike were rescued. In this case, and the strike on June 16 that left two survivors, US Central Command said that they notified the US Coast Guard.

In the video, he reads multiple comments from netizens, alleging that the quality of food at the outlet has dropped and that they no longer patronise the outlet.
