Shinee's Key eats his way through Singapore before boarding Disney cruise

PUBLISHED ONOctober 13, 2026 8:51 AMBYEsther LamShinee's Key recently landed on our shores and he certainly came with an appetite.
The 35-year-old K-pop idol shared two YouTube vlogs on Oct 3 and 10, as well as an Instagram post on Oct 12, showing himself eating his way through Singapore and visiting local attractions before boarding the Disney cruise.
Starting his trip on a high note, Key revealed that he had originally redeemed his airline miles for a business-class seat but received an unexpected upgrade to first class.
He also picked up a few travel essentials onboard including an electric vacuum pump for clothes storage and a portable hand fan, which quickly came in handy while he was exploring Singapore.
The next day, he made a visit to Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, which he named his "favourite restaurant in Singapore". He later wandered around Little India, before stopping at Tekka Centre and enjoyed a meal of butter naan and curry.
He ended the night at Jumbo Seafood, where he feasted on a spread of chilli crab, black pepper crab, satay and fried rice.
The following day, he visited Jurassic World: The Experience at Gardens by the Bay as well as the Singapore Zoo, adding that he waited well over an hour for the river boat ride.
Having dinner at an unnamed restaurant along Singapore River, he shared that he essentially ordered everything on the menu, including black pepper crab and cereal prawn.
The closed captions in the video read: "I don't get to go to night markets often in South Korea, so it's so nice coming to one here."

Key then shared that he boarded the Disney cruise the next day, as seen in the second YouTube vlog, where he shows off his ocean view room.
He is seen watching the sail away party, a high-energy deck celebration that is only performed on the day of boarding, and also showed his cabin door decorations, embracing the Disney Cruise Line tradition of personalising stateroom entrances.
Opting for a Toy Story theme, he covered his door with characters such as Jessie, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Slinky Dog, Lotso, Rex and one of the beloved three-eyed aliens, while miniature figurines surrounded his cabin door number.
Changing into an all-black outfit, he donned a shirt featuring various Disney villains including Maleficent, Cinderella's evil stepmother Lady Tremaine and Ursula.

Key later went on a shopping spree at one of the merchandise stores, where he was recognised by a Korean employee.
While browsing the Disney memorabilia, he asked her about a cruise ship-shaped keyring that plays different Disney songs and whether there was one with the OST for When You Wish Upon a Star.
Although he was told it was not sold that day, the excited employee later managed to obtain one and gifted it to him, adding that she has been a fan since her school days.
Another crew member later also helped him locate a Disney Villains keyring collection, sending Key into a frenzy as he repeatedly exclaimed: "Oh god, oh my god."
He asked where he could meet Snow White on board, only to learn that while the Disney princess still appears in stage productions, she no longer makes walkabout appearances around the ship.
Elsewhere in the vlog, Key tried Pixie Dusting at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a complimentary service where guests can ask a Fairy Godmother's Apprentice for a touch of magic and the latter use a magic wand to sprinkle glitter over guests while they make a wish.
He ended the vlog on a high note, attending a performance of Cinderella and dancing enthusiastically in a silent party.
