Ariana Grande has been left devastated after her dog died.

The 33-year-old singer and actress took to social media to pay tribute to her late pet pooch Coco, who was 17 years old.

Ariana shared a carousel of images of her four-legged friend on Instagram, and she wrote in the caption: "sweetest, most amazing and most beautiful coco … i am so proud of you. thank you for your love, and for blessing this planet with your physical presence for over seventeen wonderful years. (sic)"

The Into You hitmaker admitted she will miss Coco "every day".

She added: "you make everywhere you go a more beautiful place.

i will miss you every day and hold you in my heart always. i love you so, sweet girl. (sic)"

In Ariana's first-ever music vlog on YouTube, she conducted her debut "interview" with Coco.

The canine event went on to land her own X account, with the handle MissCocoGrande.

But the last post was on April 18, 2012, after Ariana's brother Frankie Grande, 43, had been playing with the pooch.

It read: "Best day ever!

Just a friendly game of morning Ringtoss with the one and only, @misscocogrande ! :) (sic)"

Coco inspired Ariana's lifelong dedication to animal advocacy.

Speaking to Billboard in 2015, she said: "I got involved with dog rescues by simply loving animals.

"Dogs are the most harmless, sweetest babes in the world.

"They show nothing but unconditional love, so they deserve that in return."

Ariana has rescued several dogs over the years, including Toulouse — a Beagle-Chihuahua mix adopted in 2013.

Toulouse has starred in several music videos, a Coach campaign, and even on the cover of Vogue.

She has also cared for Pit Bull mix Myron.

He originally belonged to her late ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller. Ariana officially adopted Myron after Mac Miller's tragic passing in 2018, and even had his name tattooed on her foot.

What's more, the pop star and her then-fiance Pete Davidson, 32, adopted a pot-bellied micro pig, named Piggy Smallz, in 2018.

He serves as an emotional support animal and even starred in the music video for her song Breathin.
