PETALING JAYA — MSI Malaysia unveiled the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, its first laptop powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark and the only 2-in-1 convertible device in the first wave of RTX Spark Windows laptops announced globally.
The model was first released at the Computer Exhibition (Computex) in Taiwan in June and was officially launched for pre-orders worldwide on Oct 8.
It debuted in Malaysia during a media showcase at Common Ground in Jaya One on Thursday (Oct 22).
At the heart of the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is the NVIDIA RTX Spark, the world's first system-on-chip to integrate an RTX GPU, purpose-built for on-device agentic AI, content creation and gaming.
MSI Malaysia Notebook Marketing Manager Chris Liao said the model is rapidly gaining clout in Malaysia, largely because it goes beyond raw AI performance and has robust security features.
"Since pre-orders opened earlier this month, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ has already earned strong praise from international product reviewers.
"It also offers stronger sign-in security, pairing a fingerprint sensor with an IR camera for facial recognition, a dual-biometric combination that sets it apart from other RTX Spark laptops," Liao said at the media showcase.
Liao said the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ also has a bundled MSI Nano Pen and a 360-degree flip design, allowing users to type, take notes, sketch or present in a tablet mode.
The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is also the most well-rounded RTX Spark laptop that is set to welcome a new era for agentic AI, according to MSI Malaysia.
Agentic AI, or autonomous AI, refers to a type of artificial intelligence that runs independently to design, execute and optimise workflows with little or no human intervention.
Since AI models contain billions of parameters, they run fastest when the whole model fits in a laptop's Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) memory.
When memory is too small, data spills into slower system memory and responses lag. A larger memory pool lets users run bigger, more capable models at full speed.
So, the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ comes in two configurations: the 64GB model and the 128GB model.
The 64GB model is suitable for AI developers, software engineers, data scientists and content creators working with local generative AI, AI coding and video editing and rendering.
The 128GB works best for those working with large AI models, running up to 70-billion and 100-billion parameters locally.
A Vapor Chamber and IntraFlow cooling system also keeps performance stable during long-running AI agents, model inference, and software development without thermal throttling.

The Prestige N16 Flip AI+ is available through the MSI official e-store and MSI authorised partners.
All units come with a three-year on-site warranty.
Customers who purchase the device by December 2026 are also eligible to redeem the MSI Care Plus package, which includes a one-year warranty extension and one year accidental damage protection.
