One of the most attractive reasons to join the Nintendo Switch Online service has always been its extensive library of free NES games.
In September's Nintendo Direct, it was announced that a whole lot of SNES games are about to be added to that library starting September 5th (today!).

Nintendo has promised to add to this library of SNES games over time, just like it's been doing with NES games on the Switch.
All the games will also come with the new rewind feature - just in case these retro games are tuned a little too hard for your taste.
That's not all, though. Nintendo is also releasing a special SNES controller for the Switch, just to give those SNES games that extra nostalgic oomphf.
Only Switch Online members will be able to purchase it, and it'll cost you around S$41.50.
